2.1m3 of mixed kiln dried hardwood

Wood species predominantly Beech, Ash, Sycamore cut to 10 inches by one of the most impressive large scale production sites in the UK.  

In order to receive top quality kiln dried hardwood in the most cost effective way I don’t think you can beat the freight distribution network.  This wood will come straight from the kiln in the west of Scotland, it will go through a 2 step cleaning process before being packed on the most efficient pallet stacking system on the market.  I can’t beat it so won’t try.  Best for you as the customer and sadly best for me as I won’t be trying to get anywhere near the same price point by delivering by bag and small scale truck.  I’ll still do that but not at a price point close to this.  

There are definite downsides to pallet delivery.  In the last 4 years I’ve found 1 in 10 don’t arrive on the stated date which means they will come the next day.  

The lorry drivers can on occasion be grumpy and unhelpful.  You will likely already be aware of this from other 3rd party parcels you receive.  

Sometimes the drop can’t be made.  If the lorry can’t get through, the gradient is too steep or the ground isn’t compacted enough the driver may refuse to deliver.  

I can help avoid this by searches on google maps etc but if this is of concern to you it might not be your best option.  

The quality of wood is excellent.  The price is excellent.
