2.1m3 of kiln dried mix of hard and soft wood.

I really like the approach my supplier has opted for here.  It’s probably fair to say most of us are feeling the pinch a little bit.  I know i am and I’m sure plenty of others are too. 

Through a wide network of tree surgery businesses in the west of Scotland some of the less fashionable hard and softwoods have been gathered together before going through the same processing, kiln drying, and packaging process of the their higher profile cousins.  The species in this pack will tend to be Larch, Poplar, Elm, Willow, Spruce and Douglas fir.  

Some people turn their nose up at these species but they burn well, particularly in a mix.   Due to the nature of how the logs have been collected some will be knotty, some a bit chunkier in size etc but you won’t be dissapointed in how they burn, price or moisture content.  

Delivered on the pallet by 3rd party freight network.  In my experience something goes wrong with a pallet delivery maybe 1 in 10 times.  I’m just being honest.  It doesn’t get delivered on the target date, driver is unhelpful, the driver can’t deliver to your property as the ground isn’t firm enough, the access isn’t wide enough, overhanging trees etc etc.  With the help of google maps I’ll do as much as I can to avoid these problems but if you are concerned this might not be the right option for you.
